Sesame Crusted Tuna

Preparation Time: 40 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes
 

Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons wasabi powder
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
4 6 oz tuna steaks
1 tablespoon wasabi powder
1 tablespoon water
1/4 cup low fat sour cream
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoons sliced scallions, just the green part
1 tablespoon soy sauce, low sodium


The Rub: Combine first five ingredients and rub over tuna. Cover and
chill 30 minutes,

The Grill: Preheat grill to high and coat with cooking spay. Grill tuna
steaks 4-5 minutes per side for rare steaks; adjust time to taste and your
grill.

The Sauce: Combine wasabi and water, whisk well, let stand at least 5
minutes. Stir in sour cream, mayo, lime juice, and soy sauce.

The Presentation: Serve the tuna steak with a drizzle of the wasabi cream
on top and a dollop on the side of each plate. Garnish with the sliced
scallions

Suggested Wine: Sakonnet Vidal Blanc or Mondavi Fume Blanc
